Slate Thoughts:
- Tonight should be an interesting slate! There are no big favorites and all match-ups are projected to be very close. The first series I will touch on is IG vs. RNG. IG as of late have looked pretty good and have started to show us that they can be consistent over the course of multiple series, something we could not say earlier this split. IG have the advantage over RNG in GPM, DRA%, HER% and GD @ 15 minutes. Though the odds have projected this to be a close series, I actually think IG sweep RNG. In the sweep I see IG putting up above average fantasy numbers. If the RNG that beat JDG show up in this match, then I could definitely see it getting pushed to 3 games, but I am not banking on that happening. Give me Puff, Rookie and Ning in IG builds.
- Next we have BLG taking on Dominus Esports. Since the return of their star JNG Meteor, BLG have looked pretty good beating OMG and LNG and narrowly losing to IG and SN. DMO have struggled quite a bit this split losing every series except one. They have been swept five times this split as well. DMO average nearly 18.5 deaths per loss, while BLG average over 18 kills in wins. I expect BLG to have some good upside tonight and I like them to beat DMO 2-1. I think DMO is able to win one game in this series, and expect it to be a tight win with a high kill total from both sides. Meteor and FoFo will be the two I start my BLG builds with.
- Finally, we have a match-up between KT and SB. Since having their coach join them, Sandbox have looked like a completely different squad. They have been playing really well, sweeping KT just two series ago. I expect much of the same this series. Though I don’t necessarily believe they will sweep KT, I do feel they will win this series. SB are also priced way down on Draftkings, allowing you to fit them with IG, BLG or T1 easily. I expect Route and Summit to show out in this series and those would be the two I start my SB builds with.
