Slate Thoughts:
- Tonight’s slate is definately an interesting one. We have one big favorite in GenG and the rest of the mach-ups should be really close. GenG are the obvious locks tonight in cash contest, I don’t see how you can avoid playing them. They have been playing really well this split, as expected, but are coming off a match vs. T1 where they were absolutely destroyed. I expect them to bounce back in a big way tonight vs. the newcomers Team Dynamic. I could see GenG being the highest scoring stack on the night. The one spot I would avoid on GenG is support, unless you are planning on being up at 3:00 am est to see the starting lineup. Bdd, Ruler and Rascal are the three I would start my build off with.
- Next we have IG in a match-up that they are decent favorites in, but not nearly as high as GenG. They again changed their support and are starting Baolan tonight, which further makes that position a complete fade when playing IG stacks. IG will face off against Estar. Estar have struggled a good bit this split, ranking near the bottom of the LPL in gold differential @ 15 minutes and they also average the second most deaths in the LPL. IG definitely have a high ceiling in this match-up with Estar averaging nearly 20 deaths in losses. I favor IG here and have them winning 2-1. Rookie and Puff are my top targets from this squad.
- Finally, we have another close match-up in BLG vs. OMG. BLG have looked like a completely different team with Meteor back at JNG. They nearly took down IG in their last match-up. OMG have looked pretty good over the course of their last 3 match-ups as well. I lean towards BLG in this series. It will be a very close series, but BLG with Meteor will come out on top 2-1. I will have plenty of exposure to BLG tonight, focusing on Meteor, FoFo and Wings. I will also grab a share of OMG as well.
- Tonight will be a good night to take a shot on some of these teams that are projected for low ownership such as BLG, OMG, KT, SB. Pairing them up with GenG or IG will be the route I am taking tonight.
