Slate Thoughts:
- This slate features two heavy favorites in GenG and IG. IG presents the most upside of any team on the slate and I will have heavy exposure to them. Draftkings has many of GenG’s roster priced below LGD and T1. I will gladly take the savings that draftkings is giving me on Gen G and lock them in with IG in Cash. Lets be honest, Sandbox should not present much of a problem for GenG tonight. I expect this to be a quick 2-0 which leaves GenG’s upside limited, that is why I am limiting my exposure to mainly cash games and small tournaments. IG on the other hand presents good upside tonight facing DMO, who have been really bad this split, despite their win two nights ago vs. EDG. DMO average the second most deaths per game in the LPL, and also have the second worst gold differential in the LPL. IG should really be able to take this series quite easy. I will be targeting Rookie and Ning from IG. From GenG I will be looking to start my build with Bdd.
- LGD will be one of the teams I will target in gpps tonight. They do not present a huge amount of upside, as they average only around 15 kills in their wins, which ranks near the bottom of the LPL. They have really played well this split and I expect them to keep that going tonight. Peanut is my top play from LGD.
- T1/DWG should be a really good match-up of two of the top teams in the LCK. I think this could be a good match-up to target in gpps. I lean DWG due to their overall play this split and their low price tags on draftkings. Both of these squads lead the LCK in kills per game, so it could be quite bloody. Again, I will have plenty of exposure to both of these squads in tournaments, having slightly more exposure to DWG. I like DWG 2-1 here.
- Cash games tonight should be fairly chalky, which makes tournaments really interesting, as we should be able to get many of these teams at low ownership. My favorite tournament stack outside of IG tonight is DWG (ShowMaker, Ghost, BerryL are my targets here), followed by LGD and T1.
