Slate Thoughts:
G2/Rouge will be squaring off in a matchup between two of the top teams in the LEC today, and as good of a matchup as it should be, I do believe that the kill total could end up lower than expected here. I like G2 to win this matchup, however, Rouge is definitely capable of pulling off the upset. I will probably be staying away from both of these teams in my main builds today. I do believe that getting exposure to one side or the other in gpps is a wise move, especially on the side of G2, because we have seen time and time again, that G2 can put up huge numbers on any given day.
FNC will be the team I center my main build around. They get a very good matchup vs. an XL team that have lost 5 of their last 6 matches. This should be another loss for this XL team, and it could get ugly before its all said and done. FNC have by far the more talented of the two teams and are much better than XL in early, mid and late game. I expect FNC to jump out to a huge lead that XL will have a tough time overcoming. Selfmade and Bwipo are my top two guys from FNC and would be the two I would want to prioritize in my main build. FNC have the highest implied kill total on the slate by nearly 2 kills, so you will want to make sure you get exposure to them in your cash build, and I will personally have heavy exposure to them in gpps as well. I love FNC today.
Talking about teams that are on absolute fire right now, we have to look SK’s way. SK has won 5 straight now, and have jumped up to 3rd place in the LEC. Vitality on the other hand have only won two matches all split, and that trend of losing does not look like it will end today. SK come with plenty of upside, especially considering they have been averaging 19 kills per win over their last 5 games. SK fit in nicely with FNC for a solid cash build, and also make a strong play in gpps.
