Slate Thoughts:
We have ourselves a 5 game slate tonight, and one that brings us tons of exciting matchups! In a perfect world, I would be looking to target BLG and T1 in cash, but with T1 doing some funky things with their roster, and being unpredictable in regards to their starting lineup nightly, I will be fading them in cash. I will be targeting them in the team spot tonight and may try to look at a 4-2-1 build in cash tonight. T1 are heavy favorites vs. BRO and are projected for the 2nd highest implied kills on the slate. So, if you are able to get the right starting lineup, they could leave you sitting atop the leaderboard tonight. Regardless I do believe that they 2-0 this series and win in convincing fashion.
The other team I will be looking to target is BLG. They are taking on OMG and are -575 favorites. BLG do have the highest implied kill total on the slate and come with really nice upside. OMG rank second in the entire league in deaths/game. BLG are in the top half of the league in Kills/game, so the combination of these two things should provide a nice upside for BLG. They rank ahead of OMG in DRA%, GPM, GD@15 and FB%. This should be a 2-0 series win for BLG. Meteor is my top target from BLG tonight, and I would love to find a way to get him in my captain spot in cash games.
JDG/WE is going to one heck of a series tonight. I see this being a complete toss up, and so do the odds makers. I think the winning side could end up producing really good numbers. I side with JDG here and think that the overall talent on their roster wins out. If they do win, I expect that they will be one of, if not the highest scoring stack on the night. If you’re going with JDG tonight, look to target Kanavi and LokeN in your builds. Don’t sleep on WE because they could definitely pull this one out. I don’t like their upside as much as I do JDG, and they are more expensive than JDG. With JDG being priced so low, they pair up nicely with BLG!
The FPX/TES match is going to be one you do not want to miss. These are two of the top teams in the world. The winner of this series could put up slate breaking numbers. I believe that both of these teams will be really low owned tonight because people consider this a toss up and are hesitant to take a stand on one side or the other. I for one am going to stand on the side of FPX tonight. I believe they have been more consistent overall this split. TES, however, have played really well over their last three series, sweeping all three teams. So they are coming into this series hot! TES have had a lot of success over FPX recently, but I see that shifting tonight. Doinb, Lwx and Bo are my 3 top plays from FPX and will be in my FPX stack.
