Slate Thoughts:
Y5 is my top team on the slate tonight. They come into this series as -750 favorites and a hefty 18 kills per win. They lead this TT team in DRA%, GPM, GD @15min and FB%. TT average nearly 18 deaths in their losses, so this one could get ugly. V5 will be my 4 stack tonight in cash games, and they also have enough upside to be used in tournaments.
GenG will be where I probably look to go in my cash games to pair with my V5 4 stack. GenG is a fairly low upside play. They are very strong in the late game, a place where LSB is fairly weak. LSB may try to snowball early, but will fail if they go that route. Gen G should win this in a sweep, but provide us with very pedestrian fantasy production. I will take the safety they provide in cash game tonight, and look to FPX, DRX and IG for my upside tournament plays. IG in particular could blow away all scores tonight in a win vs. FPX. I love their upside, but know that they also all come with very low floors. They have huge kill numbers in wins and huge death numbers in losses.
Surprisingly DRX are very affordable tonight and come into their matchup vs. Fredit Brion as heavy favorites. DRX have some upside tonight but not as much as a team like V5, especially considering they only average around 15 kills in their wins, while BRO only average around 16 deaths in their losses. However, they should be able to win this series vs. BRO in what I think will be a 3 game series. DRX best BRO in GPM, GD@15 min and FB%. I do believe that BRO are live dogs and definitely could win this series in a 2-1 fashion. They only average 15 kills in their wins, but DRX is averaging nearly 20 deaths in their losses. Both teams are solid targets to consider in GPP’s. DRX could be considered in cash as your secondary stack with their affordable pricing.
