Slate Thoughts:
This slate appears to pretty wide open and could be one where we see multiple upsets. First off, my top team to target in cash games tonight is LNG. LNG has advantages over Estar in many different categories, for example they are better in first turret %, GD @ 15 min and herald rate. I don’t expect this to be a bloody match, but do believe that LNG takes this series in a 2-1 fashion. Next will be deciding who I pair with them in cash.
DWG are coming off of a very good performance vs. GEN and will look to keep the momentum going. The downside with DWG is that they are one of the slowest teams in the LCK, typically leaving their fantasy production limited. I am a huge Showmaker fan, but he has been underwhelming so far this split. On the other side HLE are one of the fastest teams in the LCK, and come with big upside if they were to pull of this upset. As much as I like DWG to win this series, I can definitely get on board with some HLE exposure and their 21 kills per win.
Finally the matchup that I have the most interest in, that is RNG/WE. I am on the side of WE in this matchup. Both of these teams rank near the top of the LPL in KPW and can put up some very impressive numbers, they also both average nearly 20 deaths per loss, setting up for some fireworks in this series. WE have the advantage in DRA%, HER% and GPM, however RNG have the advantage in GD@15 min. Give me WE in a 2-1 series win, and I fully believe the winner of this match will end up being the highest scoring team on the slate by far. As of now I am leaning towards a WE/LNG combo in my cash lineup.
