League of Legends: LPL-LCK – xFreshie’s Top Plays

What’s up everyone! The name is Freshie and I’ve been a DFS junkie for too long now but I’m also a huge ESports fan! So I’m here at DFS Karma to give you my breakdowns and analyst of all things ESports! Hope you enjoy and good luck on this early morning League of Legends slate on Draftkings!

LoL – Top Plays

We have a 4 game Draftkings slate for this League of Legends LPL-LCK slate. Now with this early starts, the roster confirmations sometimes don’t happen as quickly or often as we would like. I tend to target the teams that don’t have multiple professional players on them. Some have two to three players that can be named the starter which makes the “up to lock” sweats even worse. This is also a slate where the players are some what unknown and we can’t dig that deep on their official match history, but can see what they do in non-major tournaments.

Top Support Players

Sup – One of my favorite lanes on League of Legends is the support lane, the champion who helps the ADC level up and stacks assist pretty quickly. Plus you can usually get a pretty good salary saver support that will go low owned and rack you up some huge points.

Ming ($6,200)

Now Ming is the highest costing support on the slate but he’s also thee only one that is on the roster for Royal Never Give Up. It’s a safe pick but also one who can rack up the points easily. Ming has a 3.1 K/D ration while averaging the usual .9 cs kill per minute which is expected of a Support player. But he also averages 71% kill percentage when in a battle or team battle. Another positive note is that Royal Never Give Up bet LGD Gaming 2-1 about a month ago. They are also the heavy favorites in this contest. We could even expect a sweep depending on what roster LGD throws out.

Missing ($5,600)

This is a great play that I’m liking due to the match up versus Oh My God who holds an opponent ranking of 15th. Missing could easily get the job done this morning. Missing is something ‘Missing’ actually doesn’t do. He racks up the assist. He has racked up 12 assists twice in his past four matches, 8 on one other while a sad 2 assists just three days ago. The one downside is that Team We lost 2-1 to Team Oh My God last year in the LPL Spring Split. But since then, Missing has improved as a player overall.

Top Jungle Players

Jungle – Jungle is another champion that I like to target due to the fact that thee players roam what is called the Jungle, leveling up quicker in the beginning stages of the game. Once they are at a “nice” level, their teammates will start calling for ganks (assists on lanes) to attack the opposing champion. So if you target a top Jungler, you may be in store for a high kill and assist day.

OnFleek ($7,000)

He’s lucky he is a good player or I’d be avoiding him off of his name alone. OnFleek is a player who knows how to NOT die which is simply amazing. He averages 5.6 CS kills per minute while holding a KD ratio of 3.3. He also has a nice 68% kill percentage. Probably the one downside to OnFleek is his activity in playing tournaments. He hasn’t been on the “big stage” for a few months now but he is 100% jungle player and the only one on team Sandbox Gaming. We should see a competitive match also which should push this series to all 3 games.

Beishang ($7,400)

Another Team We player that has a easier opponent is Beishang. He gets put up versus an opponent who ranks 13th in this field, should be a good one but at a little more higher price. However, he has had a rough start to his return from action of 3 months ago. He put up stats of 3 kills, 4 deaths, and 1 assist just 3 days ago. Before that game on the same day, he put up 3 kills, 3 deaths and 3 assists. Team We is also looking for revenge versus Oh My Gawd and this would be the time to use Beishang. I would put OnFleek above him due to the $400 in salary savings, but Beishang may go lower owned.

Top “Top” Players

Top – Top lane may be the slowest and uneventful lane for the games but you can still target some good players and at a salary relieving cost.

Kiin ($5,400)

This is a huge salary saver and a great play at that! Kiin has had a good run but is also bouncing back from a two month hiatus. He has a 62% rating and usually keeps the death on the lower side. It is a difficult as his kills and assists are that consistent. For being so low cost as a Top lane champion, we can get back what we exactly need from him.

Curse ($5,600) *Risk Play*

Now Curse could just be that, a curse. He has a 10% rating and hasn’t put up the prettiest a stats in awhile, but does keep his deaths between 3-5 per game but he some times has trouble figuring out how to find kills and assist. He is a little pricier then Kiin, by $200. So you may be wondering why we’re looking at him. The play comes a risk standpoint and he could honestly go low owned. Would I go 100% exposure to Curse? No, not at all. Oh My God is the underdog also in the match-up so many may avoid them with this being a four game slate.
