Raptors -3 Vs Houston Rockets
Tonight Kawhi Leonard returns after sitting out the past 4 games for rest purposes. He will lead the surging raptors into the Toyota Center to face off against James Harden and the Rockets. The Raptors have won 8 of their last 10 games. The Rockets have been relying heavily on James Harden who has 21 straight 30+ point games. He has scored 50+ 3 times this month, including 61 in MSG last game which they only won by 4 points. Harden has scored 261 points in the last 5 games while non have come by assist that’s pretty crazy! Besides Harden the rockets have struggled on the offensive end, they are 13th in the league averaging 112 PPG, they average 42 rebounds a game which is 25th in the league, they are 28th in assists per game with only 20.8.
The Raptors fell to the Pacers in Indiana last game. They were on a back to back and got down early to the Pacers. The Raptors are a very deep team tho and there bench was able to erase a 15 point lead Indiana had but still lost by 4. There 3-1 last 4 games kawhi sat out. He leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 27.6 PPG and 7.9 rebounds. The Raptors own a couple impressive road wins at Milwaukee and at Golden State. The 76ers were able to contain harden on Monday and then blew out the Rockets 121-93. The Rockets will need a Historic game from Harden or some role players to really step up huge for them to beat Toronto tonight. I don’t see that happening and will take the Raptors and Kawhi tonight.
