Biggest takes from the week 2 College and week 1 NFL.

 

• The Detroit coaching staff’s struggles and inability to manage timeouts lost the game for the Lions.
• Houston’s defensive coordinator either didn’t know the Saints had a timeout left, or that the Saints only needed a field goal. Whichever, chalk it up to another loss on the shoulders of coaching staff.
• Cincy and Oakland are much better teams than last year.
• Joe Burrow is the QB LSU has been looking for, they looked solid against Texas. They might be a challenge for Alabama this year. I’m predicting 3 SEC teams in the Playoffs this year.
• Something is wrong with Cam Newton

 

Week 3 in College. 1 unit each play unless otherwise stated.

 

UCF (-7) (Now -8.5) I Sent this out on discord early in the week. Stanford is traveling to Florida for a hot and humid Saturday game. UCF has played two games in this weather and had tremendous success. UCF gets very little respect nationally for not playing anyone and for this reason they can afford zero let down week to week. Stanford has their QB back from a concussion, but he doesn’t play defense and Stanford will need a tremendous defensive effort to be in this game. UCF needs to make first downs so they can keep tempo in the game up, which will lead to a tired Stanford defense. If this game is close at Half time, I will look to make a second half play. Only thing scaring me is the amount of public money riding in on them.

Maryland (– 7 ), I sent this out early when the line hit -7 in discord app. Temple has played Maryland tough the last 5 years and that is why I think the line is so low. Public money hit Maryland driving the price up to -8 before sharp money brought it back down. Not many people have watch the Dirty Terps play this season and that benefits us. Maryland have an explosive offense and tremendous confidence. I am nervous about the game against Penn St. the following weekend distracting Maryland to play poorly. That being said I went in for 3 units on Maryland.

Alabama 1H (-15.5) – First SEC game for Alabama, playing against a freshman QB.

Virginia (-7) bought the half point. Florida st. has struggled for 3 seasons under Taggart, and I am betting that it continues this weekend.

Charlotte (-19) Umass has given up 93 points in two games. And Charlotte has scored 90 points in 2 games. Charlotte was in the game until the end at App St. Charlotte is going to continue to put up points this weekend and cover the 19. You can probably take this up to -20.5.

Week 2 Recap – I sucked this week. Will be better this coming week

 

Maryland -1, Winner – easy money, best bet I made

UCF – 13.5 (given out on Discord)

 

Clemson/Tex A&m – Over 63 – Loser Game never took off, dropped passes all over the field for both teams

Texas +6, Loser – Hopefully this was a push for you as it was +7 by kickoff, game was awesome to watch, could have gone either way.

Tenn -3, Loser – If you saw the end of this game…..wow. Tenn up 3 with 40 seconds to go, BSU kicks fg to tie and wins in overtime. Just horrible.

Washington -13, Loser – 3.5 hour delay through this game out the weekend. Just awful
