Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article by yours truly! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article.
Today is a great slate. Let’s go right into where I want to focus when building lineups tonight.
There is a bit of injury news today, with the main focus on the:
Washington Wizards-
Russell Westbrook will man this Wizards team that is fighting for this playoff spot. With Bradley Beal out for two games with a hamstring injury, Westbrook will need to put the team on his back. He’s been playing some of the best basketball I’ve seen from him in years, and his numbers have been insane lately, hence the price bump.
With Beal out, Raul Neto and Rui Hachimura should pick up usage here. Make sure to check prior to lock tonight to see if there are any surprises starting lineup wise.
New Orleans Pelicans-
Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are OUT, this should give more usage to Eric Bledsoe, who’s been performing amazingly as of late, along with James Johnson and Lonzo Ball. These guys should pick up the minutes and usage while Naji Marshall remains a decent cash play.
Houston Rockets-
Biggest thing here is the status of Christian Wood. I don’t know if he will suit up. If he doesn’t, fire up the G-League Rockets young’uns. They have been putting up some crazy numbers as they have been extremely shorthanded every night. Khyri Thomas, Kenyon Martin JR. and Armoni Brooks should get additional run tonight, but I will be less exposed if Wood plays.
