Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article by yours truly! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article, and watch my NBA DFS First Impression Video, which outlines how these injuries impact the slate. After that, come back to this article to make sense of the news and look at couple of ways to start building for this slate. This is a nicely sized slate with a good bit of injury news, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the day for updated news.

On both sites, I would start by locking in Kemba Walker. I usually hate playing him to be honest because he can have abysmal shooting nights. However, without Jaylen Brown here, I like a lot of Boston today- including Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum. Walker is in a smash spot and if Lonzo Ball sits, he should have an easier time than last time vs the Pelicans. He gets a usage bump with Brown off the court, and with the pace of this matchup I like his upside.

Another player I really like today is Malik Beasley. He finally returned from his whole suspension and was limited to 30 minutes last game but I think that the minutes should gradually increase as he gets back to game pace. He gets the Brooklyn Nets who have allowed a ton of points to opposing teams, as their style of play has just been outscore the other team with their offense and see what happens. Malik should start again and he fired up 17 shots in his first game back. He only made 4, but the fact that he came back from a lengthy absence and straight up chucked is a good sign.

Make sure to watch for all the news we are still waiting for-

Steph Curry- if OUT, Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Kelly Oubre Jr. all receive bumps.

Bradley Beal- if OUT, Russell Westbrook and Rui Hachimura are definitely in play here. Russ would be a lock.

Kyle Lowry- if OUT, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby get big bumps.

There are many ways to go for this slate with still news awaiting for us, so make sure to monitor throughout the day to make sure you don’t miss out on anything important! Good luck tonight!
