Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article by yours truly! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article. Go peep my NBA DFS First Impression Video and see my thoughts on the slate as an introduction to the slate! After that, come back to this article to make sense of the news and look at couple of ways to start building for this slate. This is a nicely sized slate with a good bit of injury news, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the day for updated news.
On both sites, I would start by locking in James Harden if he plays… this is the biggest news on the slate and this article will be basically meaningless if he doesn’t play. He should play as he told reporters that the injury was nothing really, but here he is with a questionable tag. If he is out, Bruce Brown, Luwawu-Cabbarot, Joe Harris, Tyler Johnson, all the guards and basically the whole team will get bumps. If he is in, expect him to have a one man show type of statline as he gets a huge usage bump without the other all stars on the floor. Make sure to monitor this news, it is so so important.
Keep an eye out for Aaron Gordon news as well. He requested a trade, I’m not sure if that means they’ll keep him out until they deal him or if anything happens before the game just keep an eye out for that. Again, it is trading season so if things get a little funky just be prepared for the chaos.
