Hello everybody, and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a massive slate with a ton of news, so instead of our usual breakdown, I’ll be going over how these injuries effect our lineup construction today.

- Anthony Davis is OUT- this means that Kyle Kuzma should receive the start in his place. This also gives a bump to the obvious LeBron James. LeBron should get a ton of usage here, but I will note that in the 3 other games that Davis has sat this year, vs the Wolves (blowout), Bulls and Pistons, LeBron has failed to exceed 5x value. So he could be in the same scenario tonight but this is a good matchup for him at home, I expect the Thunder to keep it close as they are trying to recover from a plethora of injuries and health protocols. Main targets here: Kyle Kuzma, LeBron James. GPP plays: Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell, and Talen Horton-Tucker.
- John Wall, Eric Gordon, and Christian Wood are OUT- this means that Victor Oladipo and DeMarcus Cousins will be my main targets on this Houston team. Guys like Nwaba, Tate, and Sterling Brown should get more run but on a slate like this I won’t go there. Focus on Oladipo and Cousins here, Cousins should be locked in cash, Oladipo is in a weird spot. There are a ton of great shooting guard plays, and I mean GREAT. So he definitely has the lower owned feel to him and he does have a similar ceiling to guys like Lavine, Shai Gilgeous Alexander and DeMar Derozan, but his floor is much lower. For that, I will consider him GPP only.
- Russell Westbrook is OUT- This means Bradley Beal and his 40% usage rate will be a great play vs the Bulls. It is a back to back, but I wouldn’t worry too much there. Beal should perform like he always does and this Bulls team is also short handed. He should be a lock on DK but on FD his price is very steep. We’ll see if I go there, make sure to check out my cores before lock! Ish Smith, Rui Hachimura and Davis Bertans should benefit here but I don’t know if I’ll go there today either.
- Lauri Markennen and Otto Porter are OUT- this means that Patrick Williams, Denzel Valentine, and my low owned GEM of the night, TOMAS SATORANSKY will be all in play in all formats. I love Satoransky tonight, he overlapped in minutes with Coby White last game and I expect him to have himself a night. Give me 8x value in your revenge game, Tomas! I love this spot for these 3 in all formats, they will be a staple for me on the value side. Zach Lavine is a great play in all formats tonight as well.
- Devonte Graham is OUT- LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and Cody Zeller all get bumps. Ball should start but his price is getting up there. I’m a huge fan and he has 60+ upside on any given night, he can light it up and fill up the stat sheet in all sorts of ways. He’s going to be a great GPP play for me tonight. Rozier is more cash for me especially when Graham is back, his shots go straight to Rozier, Hayward and Ball. I think Hornets can go lower owned today since there are a ton of great plays across the board at somewhat better price points.
- *Watch for Jamal Murray news , if he’s out Monte Morris, Will Barton, Michael Porter Jr. and Nikola Jokic get bumps
- *Watch for Chris Paul news, Devin Booker will get a huge bump if CP3 sits.
