Updates to come to this section as we approach lock so continue to check back for more insight.

  • Hello all and welcome back for another DFS Karma Game Theory! Now there is a lot of injury news but that is covered over at https://dfskarma.com/basketball/nba-injury-news-and-impact. There are 10 games today which means there will be more variance. The more games there are, the more spread out the owner percentages are for each player. Let’s dive right in.
  • On FanDuel, I would start by locking in Larry Nance Jr. at the SF position because of the information that Kevin Love will be out for 3-4 weeks as well as Isaac Okoro being ruled out. On DraftKings, I would start by locking in Russell Westbrook for cash games. At that price on DK, he is way too cheap for the amount of production he can put out.
  • Since there are 10 games on today’s slate, you want to go ahead and rule out the games that will not have the potential for high fantasy point output. I would fade BOS/IND and maybe even TOR/PHI just because there are so many other games that are in better positions with higher pace and score total.
  • With Jimmy Butler doubtful, I think you have to take a stand on these Heat guys who are in a great position without their star player. Tyler Herro on FanDuel is very cheap at 4,500, while Duncan Robinson is 4,600. Wing shooters have historically been good against Milwaukee and that can happen here tonight, as we saw Elfrid Payton just score 27 on their heads. If you believe the game will be close then you must have at least 1-2 pieces on the other side of the game that can include: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, or Jrue Holiday. This goes with other high paced games where you are expecting a close and high scoring game.
  • *Watch out for news on Kawhi Leonard… if he is ruled out today, Paul George will be the focal point of tonight’s offense vs the Portland Trailblazers and should see some great usage. Other good plays include Luke Kennard  and Lou Williams.
  • Now, I will go over my full player pool for today, below.
