Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here! This is a massive Friday slate, and there’s a lot to digest news wise, so make sure to keep yourself up to date with the latest updates.
- The biggest news of the day is that Kevin Durant is OUT, with injury management. This will open up a lot of usage for Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and Joe Harris. Jeff Green should get some extra run today. James Harden has taken a stepback, sharing the usage with two of the games best. He should soak up some of the usage today, and I think that you can be comfortable with Kyrie and Harden in the same lineup.
- Now I’m going to be going over some other injuries we are dealing with today- Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are back, that will make this whole team on the “fade” list for me. I don’t think I will touch this game at all.
- For the Jazz, Donavan Mitchell is out, which opens the door for Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert. This is the exact same matchup as last slate. I like them all again, Clarkson and Ingles are priorities for me here.
- For the 76ers, Joel Embiid is still Q as this article is being published. That will be huge, he took a nasty fall and I knew immediately that he would be questionable on today’s slate. If he’s out, look for Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris and Dwight Howard to pick up the slack. It’s interesting to note that Ben Simmons does struggle without Joel Embiid and particularly on the road..
