- Hello everybody and welcome back to another DFS Karma Game Theory article! Today there are a couple things to monitor regarding injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. For injury news, please make sure to check our injury article here!
- The Milwaukee Bucks v Dallas Mavericks is where I think I’m going to get most of my “studs” from in regards to Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo. I love the fact that Porzingis is back for the Mavs because it helps alleviate some of the ball pressure on Luka, as we saw him pop off vs CHA for a near 30 point triple double. In terms of Giannis, he is an elite play at a strong position today- the forward spot is loaded with a plethora of options. I would want to prioritize these two here and complimentary pieces would include James Johnson, Khris Middleton and Trey Burke.
- The other game I love for all formats is the CLE v NY game. This game provides a lot of great plays, guys like Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, Elfrid Payton and Mitchell Robinson are all in play for me on the Knicks side and I will have a lot of exposure there. On the CLE side, I like Cedi Osman, Damyean Dotson (Especially on FanDuel), Andre Drummond. Cedi is probably my favorite out of this bunch here. I’ll go over some miscellaneous notes below that touch on some other key plays for the day.
- My core for cash games will be Luka Doncic, Cedi Osman, Julius Randle
- For tournaments, I like the core of Elfrid Payton, Anthony Edwards, Brandon Clarke
- Notes:
- Edwards has to benefit from no Rubio, but return of Okogie hurts minutes
- Cedi Osman is my #1 ranked SF right now…
- Do we pay up for Giannis today?
- Al Horford/Mitchell Robinson... probably my top two centers at their respective prices
- Jordan Clarkson is prime without Ingles.
