What’s up everyone! I appreciate the support as I increase the content I produce here at DFS Karma. I’ll be going over my “Core, GPP, and Value” plays today for this nice Saturday slate. Let’s get started!
Core Plays:
Devin Booker:
Once again Booker is going to be the cash staple for me in a nice matchup vs the Warriors. Oubre is out for the year unfortunately with a torn meniscus, which means that Booker will have to shoulder even more of the offensive load for this Suns team. He gets a usage increase with Oubre out and on top of that the Warriors struggle on defense. Should be a good 5x+ play with a good ceiling tonight. He can drop 50 on any given day.
Malcolm Brogdon (FD ONLY)
Brogdon is so cheap on FD and Lamb’s absence does boost him just a tad bit. He’s purely FD only because on DK he’s pricey at 7k. CLE plays slow but struggles as a whole being one of the worst teams in the league.
Myles Turner (DK ONLY)
Turner is underpriced on DK at only 5.3 and he faces Drummond defense. I don’t think I need to say more, the double double bonus is also something I love on DK.
Jaylen Brown:
Brown will be in majority of my lineups tonight vs the Rockets. He’s mid priced on both sites and should get 5x tonight- I expect Cov to shadow Tatum so he will likely draw House tonight.
GPP Plays:
Carmelo Anthony:
Melo hasn’t been shooting the ball well at all but he gets the perfect matchup to bounce back in tonight vs the Hawks. The usage is there, he will shoot around 15+ shots without a doubt and should get the volume tonight once again. Gotta go back to the well and give it a go.
Bruno Fernando (DK only)
Bruno has been playing some good basketball as of late with Dedmon out. I expect him to come off the bench but I don’t mind it. I’m not super high on him but he’s only 3.5k on DK and should be one of those players that can get you 20-25 tonight for cheap.
Value Plays:
Dario Saric/Mikal Bridges:
Both these Suns players have been benefitting from Oubre’s absence and now we have a really nice matchup vs the Warriors. This should be the spot where Saric pops off after being somewhat of a let down the last two slates. Bridges always has a high ceiling with his defensive attributes.
Jakob Poeltl:
I wanted to write him under GPP but I will take the chance here and try to get him right this time. ORL always runs big which is encouraging. If he starts, I will like him much more than if he was on the bench, in that case I would fade him. Have to wait on that news, but I really find it unlikely that they put Lyles at C today to fight Vuc down low.
