What’s up guys, I’m pumpin’ out content today so keep up! I put in a lot of work so if you read it please leave it a like/comment! Let’s get into it.
Core Plays
Dallas Mavericks-
This is the top team stack of the day for me. Lock and load on every player, Tim Hardaway Jr., Dorian Finney-Smith, and Maxi Kleber are my favorites while guys like Seth Curry, Jalen Brunson, Willie Cauley-Stein and Delon Wright could be good GPP plays. This team is short handed and playing ATL. Gold mine!
Trae Young/Bradley Beal
Trae is one of my favorite players to watch in the NBA and he’s been playing out of his mind lately and he’s still too cheap for his ceiling. The Mavs will be missing a ton of their defensive presence with KP and Luka out. I love this matchup for Trae and the ceiling is there in this game atmosphere for sure. Another player I’ll be looking at if I don’t run Trae is Bradley Beal. I will be playing one of these two guys for sure. I love both their matchups, but I prefer Trae. If I can’t afford him I wouldn’t be opposed to running Beal anyday in a matchup vs the Nets on a b2b.
Value Plays:
Dennis Smith Jr
With the news that Frank getting ruled out, the Knicks have no one to play their PG position besides Kadeem Allen, who hasn’t gotten time since their game vs Phoenix on the 6th of January. With DSJ receiving low minutes in the teens the past couple of games, I assume that coach will trust him enough to be the main guy at the point over anyone else on the team. He is cheap across all sites and is in a great position to succeed. The match-up isn’t too pretty because they are playing a decent defensive team in Indiana, but he should have more than enough time to produce. (We’re also blessed that R.J. is still out otherwise I could see him starting point in this situation)
Draymond Green
Draymond is very cheap in what should be a good game environment for both teams. I like Draymond’s chances at eclipsing 6-7x value tonight and he should be low owned. I like him on FanDuel more than DraftKings where he is sub 6k. Not much more to write in terms of value plays because Dallas as a whole is a value team!
Kevin Huerter
Huerter, the Red Rifle, should get a good amount of love today with Hunter out for the Hawks. Huerter should get more run and more opportunities shot wise. I like his upside even though his shot hasn’t been falling lately, and this matchup is a perfect spot.
Tournament Plays
Taurean Prince
Prince should be in a good amount of my tournament lineups tonight vs the Wizards, as the pace is super nice and the Wizards struggle to guard shooters, moreso they struggle to guard anyone. I like this spot for Prince in tourneys as a pivot to Hardaway Jr.
Mitchell Robinson
Mitch is still cheap on both sites, and he’s been on a nice little run. I like the spot as Pacers struggle vs bigs, but then again it is Mitch Robinson, he struggles to stay out of foul trouble. That’s the main reason why I’m hesitant on him, and it’s pretty likely that if he doesn’t perform well it’ll be because of the foul trouble.
