Guards
Victor Oladipo
Oladipo’s numbers are a bit skewed over the last 10 days because of an injury. Still, he’s averaging 14.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.3 steals (23.8 fantasy points) in 27.2 minutes per game. Oladipo has played 37minutes in 2 of his last 3 games, though, scoring 32.25 and 33.5 fantasy points in those games. His only true struggles came in nine minutes against the Miami Heat before suffering an injury. He also comes with scoring potential than he has flashed in recent games.
Oladipo gets another matchup against Miami today. They rank 20th in the bubble in pace and ninth in defensive rating in the bubble. Oladipo is averaging 13.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals (20.3 fantasy points) in 24.3 minutes against the Heat this season. He’s expected to play minutes in the high-30s tonight, as he looked fully healthy from multiple lingering injuries. Oladipo is a major part of the offense, although he has yet to put together a full game. Once he does that, he comes with 50 fantasy point upside, making him a great tournament option on this slate.
Eric Gordon
Gordon has looked good in his four games in the bubble. He’s averaging 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists (25.1 fantasy points in 26.4 minutes per game. Gordon has played 30+ minutes in each of his 2 playoff games, scoring 30.75 fantasy points in each game. He has found ways to add rebounds and assists to his scoring lines, as well. He’s also shooting only 35.1% from the field and 12.5% from deep, suggesting he comes with significantly more upside.
Gordon gets a matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who rank 17th in the bubble in pace and second in defensive rating. Their defense hasn’t been able to slow down Houston yet in the playoffs, though. Through 4 games, Gordon is averaging 12.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists (21.6 fantasy points) in 32.1 minutes per game against Oklahoma City this season. Gordon is expected to play 30+ minutes once again tonight, and he comes with tremendous upside if his shot is falling.
Bigs
Danilo Gallinari
Gallinari has seen plenty of ups and downs since the NBA restart. He’s averaging 15.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assist (21.1 fantasy points) in 24.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Gallinari has performed well in the NBA playoffs, though, scoring 24.25 and 39.75 fantasy points in those games. He’s a boom or bust option that’s extremely dependent on scoring.
Gallinari gets a matchup against the Houston Rockets tonight. They lead the bubble in pace while ranking seventh in defensive rating. Gallinari has looked outstanding against them this season, averaging 22.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists (37.2 fantasy points) in 32.5 minutes per game. Gallinari played 33 minutes in each of the first two games in this series, and he’s expected to find similar minutes tonight. He’s a player reliant on his scoring, but he’s a great matchup for that after scoring 17 and 29 points in the first two games. Gallinari is coming off of a bad game, allowing us to take advantage of what should be lower ownership on this slate.
Myles Turner
Turner is another high risk, high reward option. He’s averaging 14.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 3.0 blocks (35.9 fantasy points) in 31.0 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Turner struggled in his first game in this playoff series, scoring only 28.25 fantasy points before dropping 39 fantasy points in his next game. His upside was on full display in his second game, although he was only two rebounds from a double-double and a small bonus on DraftKings.
Turner gets a matchup against the Miami Heat, which has already been outlined in the Victor Oladipo recommendation. He’s averaging 11.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks (27.9 fantasy points) in 28.6 minutes per game against Miami this season. Turner is playing a bigger role in the playoffs without Domantas Sabonis, though, and he’s expected to see 30+ minutes tonight. He’s been close to a double-double in each of the two games in this series. Turner also comes with elite block potential, and he may go overlooked with some of the other center options on this slate.
SuperDraft
Goran Dragic (1.6x)
Dragic has looked outstanding in the bubble thus far. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 20.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.0 steal in 29.2 minutes per game. Dragic recently flashed his upside, scoring 36.75 fantasy points in only 22 minutes against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has performed well in big minutes against the Indiana Pacers in this series, as well.
Dragic gets a third consecutive matchup against Indiana, who ranks ninth in the bubble in pace and third in defensive rating. Dragic has looked outstanding against the Pacers this season, averaging 16.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in 30.3 minutes per game through 5 games. He’s expected to find 30+ minutes once again today, making him an elite option with a 1.6x multiplier on SuperDraft.
