Darius Bazley
Bazley’s been enjoying a breakout season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Through 47 games, he’s averaging 13.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists, (27.3 fantasy points) in 31.2 minutes per game. Bazley’s been heating up in recent games, averaging 33.9 fantasy points in 33.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s scored 39+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 6 games, flashing outstanding upside when he’s given full minutes.
Bazley gets a great matchup against the Indiana Pacers tonight. They rank fifth in the NBA in pace and 14th in defensive efficiency this season. Indiana also features one of the worst defenses in the league against opposing power forwards. Bazley generally boasts a usage rating north of 20% with the potential for it to jump over 30% on any given night. He’s a solid part of the offense with the ability to double-double. Bazley’s expected to play minutes in the mid- to high-30s tonight. He’s scored 39+ fantasy points in each of his last 3 games with 37+ minutes, although he’s also proven that he doesn’t need massive minutes to exceed value at his current price tag. He’s an elite option in tournaments on this larger slate.
