Kevin Love
Love has struggled with injuries for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season. Through 15 games, he’s averaging 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, (25.5 fantasy points) in only 22.3 minutes per game. Love’s performed better in recent games, averaging 30.5 fantasy points in 26.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s posted 30+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 6 games, including a 39.25 fantasy point performance in only 27 minutes against the Charlotte Hornets.
Love gets an elite matchup against the Charlotte team he dominated a few days ago. They rank 17th in the NBA in pace and defensive efficiency this season. The Hornets allow the most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards, according to Fantasy Pros. Love’s usage rating tends to fluctuate, but it generally sits slightly above 25%. We can expect that once again tonight. Love’s expected to play roughly 30 minutes tonight, as he continues to get back to health. He dominated Charlotte in their only matchup this season, and we could see that once again tonight. Love will likely go overlooked because of his injury struggles throughout the season, but he’s a high upside option, who is too cheap if he’s playing full minutes.
