Jordan Clarkson
Clarkson has looked outstanding for the Utah Jazz this season. He’s averaging 17.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists, (28.3 fantasy points) in only 25.6 minutes per game over 54 contests. Since returning from injury, Clarkson’s averaging 33.9 fantasy points in 34.6 minutes per game, as well. He scored 29+ fantasy points in each of those games, including a 42.75 fantasy point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Clarkson gets a great matchup against the Houston Rockets tonight. They rank fifth in the NBA in pace and 25th in defensive efficiency this season. Houston’s also struggled against either guard positions, specifically scorers. Clarkson’s usage rating tends to fluctuate on a nightly basis, although it generally sits in the high 20% with the ability to skyrocket into the high 30%. He’s expected to play roughly 30 minutes tonight, continuing to be the top offensive option for Utah with Donovan Mitchell injured. Houston doesn’t possess the defense to be able to stop Clarkson, and he makes an elite option on this slate.
