Mikal Bridges
Bridges has seen a plethora of ups and downs throughout the season for the Phoenix Suns. He’s averaging 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists, (26 fantasy points) in 32.1 minutes per game. Bridges has been cold recently, averaging only 18.5 fantasy points in 30.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. With that being said, he’s posted 24+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 games, and his averages are skewed by contests with 1.25 and 5.25 fantasy points.
Bridges gets an intriguing matchup against the San Antonio Spurs tonight. They rank 18th in the NBA in pace and 14th in defensive efficiency. San Antonio’s seen mixed results against opposing small forwards, though. Bridges isn’t a high usage player, as his usage rating generally sits in the teens. With that being said, he has plenty of scoring upside and the ability to contribute in each of the five categories. Bridges is expected to play 30+ minutes tonight. His price tag isn’t reflective of his talent, but rather a couple of recent outlier games in which he played limited minutes. Bridges certainly comes with risk, but he’s an outstanding option in this matchup.
