Miles Bridges
Bridges has flashed as a breakout candidate for the Charlotte Hornets this season. He’s averaging 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, (23.8 fantasy points) in 27.4 minutes per game through 53 contests. Bridges has been playing at a high level in recent games, averaging 30.6 fantasy points in 36.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s posted 37+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 6 games, including a pair of contests with 45.75 and 46 fantasy points.
Bridges gets a plus matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. They rank 24th in the NBA in pace and 22nd in defensive efficiency this season. Cleveland’s also struggled against both forward slots. Bridges doesn’t boast elite usage, as it generally sits around 20%, but he possesses the ability to contribute in multiple categories on any given night. He’s expected to play upwards of 40 minutes tonight with LaMelo Ball, Malik Monk, Gordon Hayward, and PJ Washington all dealing with various injuries. Bridges isn’t a consistent option, which will keep his ownership lower on this large of a slate. He boasts elite upside for his price, though, and his minutes should be safe tonight.
