Mikal Bridges
Bridges has seen a plethora of ups and downs for the Phoenix Suns this season. He’s averaging 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists, (26.5 fantasy points) in 32.1 minutes per game through 51 contests. Bridges has struggled a bit in recent games, averaging only 21.3 fantasy points in 28.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. With that being said, he’s played 30+ minutes in 2 of his last 3 contests, scoring 31.25 and 33.75 fantasy points in those games.
Bridges gets a great matchup against the Washington Wizards tonight. They lead the league in pace, while also ranking 26th in defensive efficiency this season. Washington’s also struggled against small forwards throughout the season. Bridges doesn’t boast a high usage rating, as it generally sits in the teens. With that being said, he comes with tremendous scoring upside and the potential to contribute in each of the five categories. He’s expected to play 30+ minutes tonight. Bridges is a risky option because of his inconsistent minutes, but he’s a young player that should thrive in this game environment. He’s far too cheap for his ceiling, making him an outstanding tournament option.
