Eric Bledsoe
Bledsoe’s seen mixed results with the New Orleans Pelicans this season. He’s averaging 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, (25 fantasy points) in 29.2 minutes per game through 33 contests. Bledsoe’s quietly averaging 27.3 fantasy points in 32.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He’s posted 29+ fantasy points in each of his last 3 games, including a 39 fantasy point performance against the San Antonio Spurs.
Bledsoe gets an outstanding matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. They rank fifth in the NBA in pace and 17th in defensive efficiency this season. Chicago’s also struggled at times against guards thus far. Bledsoe’s usage rating fluctuates quite a bit, but generally sits slightly below 20% most nights. He can contribute in four categories, though, and is expected to play 30+ minutes once again tonight. He’s far too cheap after a recent cold streak, although that looks to be in the past after a trio of good games. Bledsoe can take advantage of this matchup, but he isn’t a player that is going to see a ton of ownership tonight. He’s an outstanding tournament option.
