Dejounte Murray
Murray’s dealt with a plethora of ups and downs throughout the season. He’s averaging 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals, (35.3 fantasy points) in 31.2 minutes per game through 42 contests. Murray’s struggled a bit recently, averaging 33.4 fantasy points in 33.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. With that being said, he’s posted 39.5 fantasy points in each of his last 2 games.
Murray gets an elite matchup against the Sacramento Kings tonight. They rank 10th in the NBA in pace and last in defensive rating this season. Sacramento also features one of the worst defenses in the NBA against point guards. Murray’s usage rating generally sits slightly above 20%, although it can jump north of 30% on occasion. Regardless of the usage, he boasts triple-double upside with the potential for steals. Murray’s expected to play minutes in the mid-30s tonight. He’s a high upside option that will go overlooked in an elite matchup because of the number of games and other point guard options. Murray is the perfect tournament play tonight.
