Robert Williams
Williams has been an elite option on a per-minute basis this season. He’s averaging 7.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.8 blocks (23 fantasy points) in 17.3 minutes per game. Williams is averaging 31.4 fantasy points in 22.6 minutes per game over the last 10 days, as well. He’s seen 26+ minutes in 3 games this season, scoring 40+ fantasy points in each of those contests.
Williams gets a great matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight. They rank ninth in the NBA in pace and 12th in defensive efficiency this season. Oklahoma City’s also struggled against opposing centers throughout the season. Williams’ usage rating fluctuates quite a bit depending on the game, although it’s expected to sit in the teens tonight. More importantly, he’s expected to continue to see minutes in the high-20s. The Boston Celtics recently traded Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson is out once again. With Moe Wagner and Tacko Fall playing limited minutes, Williams should draw another start tonight. His price isn’t discounted anymore, but he boasts an elite ceiling if Boston is going to continue to give him solid minutes.
