Welcome to another edition of Bales’ Top GPP play. In this article, I will outline my favorite NBA GPP play for today’s games. If you want all of my core plays along with our staff’s Final Thoughts article and access to our Discord, click here.
Justise Winslow
Winslow’s seen mixed results in limited games this season. Through 4 games, he’s averaging 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists (19.9 fantasy points) in 22.2 minutes per game. Winslow’s also averaging 11 shot attempts in only 22.2 minutes per game this season. He’s scored 19+ fantasy points in 3 of his 4 games, including a 29.75 fantasy point performance against the Houston Rockets.
Winslow gets an elite matchup against the Washington Wizards tonight. They lead the NBA in pace while ranking 26th in the league in defensive efficiency. Washington’s struggled against virtually every position this season, although they’re giving up the most fantasy points per game in the league to opposing small forward, per Fantasy Pros. Winslow’s usage rating fluctuates quite a bit, although it sat above 30% in 2 of his 4 games back this season. He’s clearly a massive part of the offense, although he’ll continue to find minutes in the low-20s as he works back from injury. Winslow’s been a fixture in this article since returning in late February, but he’s an elite tournament option due to his role in the offense, price, and continued low ownership.
