Julius Randle
Randle has looked outstanding through 41 games with the New York Knicks this season. He’s averaging 23.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists (48.2 fantasy points) in 36.5 minutes per game. Randle’s also averaging 51.8 fantasy points in 37.2 minutes per game since the All-Star break. He’s quietly caught fire, posting 50+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 games, including a trio of games with 60+ fantasy points.
Randle gets an interesting matchup against the Orlando Magic tonight. They rank 18th in the NBA in pace and defensive efficiency this season. Orlando’s found success against bigs this season, although Randle’s averaging more than 40 fantasy points per game against them. His usage rating generally sits in the mid- to high-20%, although it jumped over 35% only in a recent game against the Brooklyn Nets. New York continues to deal with injuries to their guards, as well, allowing Randle to play more of a point forward position, which he’s done for the majority of the season. He’s locked into major minutes, as he’s likely to see minutes in the high-30s tonight. Randle is a player that tends to go overlooked each night, and that could be the case once again tonight. He’s an outstanding tournament option on this slate.
