Bradley Beal
Beal’s been playing at a high level for the majority of the season. Through 35 games, he’s averaging 32.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.4 steals (49.1 fantasy points) in 35.4 minutes per game. Beal’s cooled off since the All-Star Break, averaging only 39.1 fantasy points in 34.6 minutes per game. With that being said, he’s coming off of a 54.5 fantasy point performance against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Beal gets an elite matchup against the Sacramento Kings tonight. They rank ninth in the NBA in pace and last in defensive efficiency this season. Sacramento’s allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, per Fantasy Pros. Beal’s usage rating dipped in his last couple of games, but it generally sits above 30% with the potential to surpass 40%. He’s an elite scoring option for the Washington Wizards, and he’s expected to find minutes in the mid-30s tonight. There are several elite guard options on this slate, including Beal’s team Russell Westbrook, which will help the former garner low ownership. Beal makes an elite tournament pivot for a surprisingly low price tag on this slate.
