Kelly Olynyk
Olynyk’s performed well in somewhat limited minutes this season. He’s averaging 10.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists (24 fantasy points) in 26.4 minutes per game. Olynyk’s seen 35 and 37 minutes in his last 2 games without Bam Adebayo, though. He dominated in those contests, posting 38.75 and 45 fantasy points against the Orlando Magic and New Orleans Pelicans, respectively.
Olynyk gets a great matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. They rank fifth in the NBA in pace and 18th in defensive efficiency this season. Chicago’s also struggled at times against bigs throughout the season. Olynyk generally doesn’t boast a high usage rating, although it fluctuates quite a bit. It’s expected to sit around 15% tonight, although it could bump over 20%. With Adebayo out again, Olynyk is expected to play minutes in the mid-30s once again tonight. He’s a high upside option that can contribute in multiple categories and recently flashed triple-double upside. His price tag still doesn’t match his upside. With that being said, Olynyk is likely to go a bit overlooked with a number of elite salary relief options. His mid-tier price tag could make him go under-owned on a night that likely features stars and scrubs as the main lineup.
