Cole Anthony
Anthony’s seen mixed results throughout his rookie season. Through 22 games, he’s averaging 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists (23.8 fantasy points) in 26.5 minutes per game. Anthony’s played 28+ minutes in each of his last 10 games, scoring 28+ fantasy points in 6 of those 10 games. He also flashed 40+ fantasy point upside against the Brooklyn Nets over that span.
Anthony gets an elite matchup against the Chicago Bulls tonight. Chicago currently ranks third in the NBA in pace and 26th in defensive efficiency this season. The Bulls also rank third last in the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, per Fantasy Pros. With Markelle Fultz, Michael Carter-Williams, and Aaron Gordon injured, Anthony’s expected to continue to find 30+ minutes tonight. His usage rating is also expected to continue to sit around 20% in this game. Anthony is priced appropriately, although he could find his ceiling in a plus matchup. He’s an elite tournament option that is likely to go overlooked on a larger slate.
