Dejounte Murray
Murray’s found plenty of success through 21 minutes this season. He’s averaging 14.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.3 steals. This adds up to 34.3 fantasy points in 30.3 minutes per game. Murray’s coming off of an 18.75 fantasy point performance in a blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. With that being said, he’s scored 30+ fantasy points in each of his last 8 games with 28+ minutes, including 4 games with 40+ fantasy points.
Murray gets an outstanding matchup against the Minnesota Wolves tonight. Minnesota currently ranks eighth in the NBA in pace and 23rd in defensive efficiency this season. The Wolves also rank in the bottom-eight of the NBA in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, specifically struggling against versatile guards. Murray’s taken advantage of this, averaging 37.8 fantasy points per game against Minnesota this season. His usage rating fluctuates on a nightly basis, although it generally sits between 20-25%. He’s also expected to return to 30+ minutes in this game. Murray boasts triple-double potential, and he’s likely to go overlooked because of the elite value that has already opened on this slate.
