Kelly Olynyk
Olynyk’s seen a plethora of ups and downs throughout this season. Through 26 games, he’s averaging 10.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists (23.6 fantasy points) in 26.1 minutes per game. Olynyk played limited minutes in his last game, although he played 31 minutes in each of his 3 before that. Overall, he’s scored 23+ fantasy points in 8 of his last 9 contests, flashing elite upside at times.
Olynyk gets a plus matchup against the Golden State Warriors tonight. They currently rank second in the NBA in pace and fifth in defensive efficiency. Golden State has struggled at times against power forwards, though, ranking as a below-average team in terms of fantasy points allowed per game to opposing power forwards, per Fantasy Pros. Olynyk doesn’t feature an elite usage rating, but he possesses the ability to contribute in each of the five categories on some level. He’s also expected to play minutes in the high-20s after finding only 14 minutes in his last game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Our projections currently have his garnering 4.9% ownership on this slate, making him a safe but high upside tournament option tonight.
