Kyle Lowry
Lowry’s found plenty of success through 21 games this season. He’s averaging 17.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.0 steal (36.9 fantasy points) in 34.5 minutes per game. Lowry’s been locked into major minutes, as well, quietly playing 37+ minutes in 5 of his last 6 healthy games. He’s also posted 45+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 healthy games, including a pair of 50+ fantasy point performances.
Lowry gets an outstanding matchup against the Washington Wizards tonight. They lead the NBA in pace while also ranking second-last in defensive efficiency. Washington’s also giving up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, per Fantasy Pros. Lowry’s usage rating generally sits around 20-25%, as he relies more on versatility rather than pure usage to find success. He’s also expected to return to full minutes tonight, meaning he’ll find minutes in the mid- to high-30s. Lowry would normally be chalk in this matchup, but he’s struggled a bit in recent games, and Russell Westbrook, Malcolm Brogdon, and Luka Doncic all boast elite price tags in solid matchups, lowing Lowry’s ownership.
