Cash Game Strategy
Tonight’s slate from a cash game / H2H standpoint is pretty straightforward, with the Phoenix Suns and Cleveland Cavaliers presenting us plenty of value to stuff into our lineups. Cam Payne is projected to be the highest-owned player on tonight’s slate, but this is chalk I’m willing to eat with him priced at just $5,300 on DraftKings. He’s averaging over 1.1 fantasy points per minute this season with Chris Paul and Devin Booker off the floor, and his coming off multiple games of 30+ minutes as well.
As for the Cavs, Jarrett Allen is out which leaves tons of minutes to go around in the frontcourt. Evan Mobley absolutely took over in the Cavs last game, and he is going to be needed for them down the stretch with Allen out. He should see an uptick in rebounding with Allen off the floor, and I think he is viable in all formats tonight. Both Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen are projected for higher ownership than Mobley, however, with Love ranking as one of the top point per dollar plays on Tuesday night.
Overall, I would be starting my build with Cam Payne and Kevin Love tonight. Some of the other supplementary Suns players like Jae Crowder and Landry Shamet are viable in all formats as well. With all of the value, you can have you pick of the studs — and Giannis + Shai Gilgeous Alexander stick out as my favorites of the over $10K options tonight.
GPP Strategy
For tournaments tonight, there is one clear path for me and that’s going way overweight on the Charlotte/Brooklyn game. This game features a massive 240 O/U — which is 9 points higher than any other game. With all of the value present, we can easily build around Lamelo Ball + one of the Brooklyn studs for mini correlations.
