NBA DFS 3/7/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Tuesday…

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Tuesday! We have another medium-sized slate today, but a decent amount of injury news which should be the theme daily as we close out the season. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Jalen Brunson

Biggest news on the slate for sure, with Brunson missing their last game and Immanuel Quickley going completely off. It boosts both Julius Randle and RJ Barret’s ceiling projection also, but Quickley would be a top play in all formats if Brunson is out.

Kyle Kuzma

Big bumps for Brad Beal and Kristaps Porzingis making them viable in all formats, with Deni Avdija becoming a stronger mid-tier option as well on both sites.

Jrue Holiday

This would obviously affect the entire lineup — all secondary starters get a boost and Jevon Carter would be a lock assuming he starts. It also would increase Giannis’ already massive ceiling.

Wendell Carter

Moe Wagner will slide into the starting lineup if he’s out, and be a top DFS value play while Paolo Banchero gets a bump up as well. We also have Cole Anthony popping as a top-ten owned player as of now.

Tobias Harris

Harris was out last night – we saw De’Anthony Melton start in his place and all of James Harden, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey had big games. Overall, these three will be firmly in play again should Harris miss but watch for any surprises given the back-to-back.

Detroit Pistons

The Pistons are once again a mess to deal with, and I don’t expect this getting any easier as the season winds down. Bogdanovic, Stewart and Duren are all doubtful while Killian Hayes and Hami Diallo are questionable to play. Expect Jaden Ivey and Marvin Bagley to be high-owned cash game plays, but we may be plugging in even more guys from Detroit once the news officially breaks this afternoon/evening.

D’Angelo Russell

Dennis Schroder will start in his place once again, while Anthony Davis will continue to dominate without LeBron James.

Jalen Williams

Williams has been balling so this is sneaky big news. All of the remaining starters would see projection and rate spikes while Dario Saric could become a top value if starting.

This is pretty much all for now – check my article this afternoon for any updates!
