NBA DFS 3/3/23 | Injuries to Monitor

NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Friday!

Players Listed As Questionable

Happy Friday! We have a huge 10 game slate on deck tonight, but there doesn’t seem to be a ton of names in question. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

De’Aaron Fox

This is definitely one of the bigger spots to watch, if he’s out we will see big boosts for all of Malik Monk, Davion Mitchell and Domantas Sabonis. Harrison Barnes becomes a much better DFS play, as well. Overall, if he gets ruled out we would see Mitchell start and most users would be plugging in 2+ Kings into their lineups.

Jonas Valanciunas

JoVal missed the Pelicans last game which allowed Willy Hernangomez and Jaxson Hayes to handle all of the center minutes. Both would be in play for value, but it would also be an even bigger boost to Brandon Ingram who would be a top play on the slate.

Jimmy Butler

I’m not sure who would start in his place, potentially Caleb Martin, but it’s clear we would want multiple Heat players with Butler out. The big winners would be Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro who would both be viable in all formats for DFS.

Anfernee Simons

Simons injured the same ankle in their last game so I don’t see how he suits up here — big bump for Damian Lillard and the rest of the Blazers starters — we should see Cam Reddish start again.

This is pretty much all for now – check my article this afternoon for any updates!
