NBA DFS 3/20/23 – Ben’s Building Blocks

What’s up everyone and welcome to Ben’s Building Blocks! If you’ve never read my content before, welcome. To those that have, welcome back. I truly appreciate everyone that reads and supports during NBA season. This article is designed for me to highlight the top plays of the day. Obviously, things can change rapidly in the NBA with injury news close to lock, so I would be sure to subscribe to our premium package for access to our Final Thoughts cheat sheet, our premium discord channel and my core plays. Our Core Plays product gives you the ability to tail all of our analysts in your contests each night. We do the work for you, and you simply plug and play with our premium Core Plays. With that being said, let’s hop into the plays…

Building Blocks

Terry Rozier

Rozier checks in as my top option on Monday, in what should be a great match-up against the Indiana Pacers. This game has one of the higher O/U’s on the board at 234 – and features two teams bottom-ten in defense but top-ten in pace. Rozier leads the team in usage rate and fantasy point per minute production with Lamelo Ball off the floor — and is projecting as one of our top values on Monday night. Indiana has struggled to defend scoring guards at times this season, with the spread only at 2 points we could see a ceiling-level performance from him at modest ownership.

Value Plays

Simone Fontecchio + Ochai Agbaji

Utah provides the best source of value on Monday night, with both Fontecchio and Agbaji priced under $4,000 on DraftKings. Utah is once again going to be without Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen which opens up more minutes for these two — both are projected for over 20% ownership tonight. It’s a smaller slate, so the value tends to concentrate on the few good spots so I actually could see these guys coming in over-owned. In cash games, it makes sense to plug them in and go with that build style but someone like Agbaji is the perfect type of player to fade in tournaments at high expected ownership.
