Important Notes

Welcome to my Stacks article specifically designed for StatHero! This will be the case on Fridays moving forward. Each of my stacks will outline three players on teams that I’m looking to use on this slate. There will be a fourth player that needs to be added to your StatHero stack, though, as each stack gets a total of four players from one team.

There is also a “1st Round Bonus Wildcard” player that needs to be selected. These Wildcards are generally some of the best players available on the slate. Ultimately, your StatHero team will feature four players from one team with a bonus player.

Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets rank 10th and second in the NBA in pace, respectively. Phoenix also ranks 17th in the league in offensive rating, while Houston ranks 15th in defensive rating. The Suns are +2.5 point underdogs in a game set at 233.5 points, but they still boast an implied team total of 115.5 points.

Devin Booker

Devin Booker has cooled off a bit recently. With that being said, he’s still averaging 24.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 35.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Booker is a player that boasts 65+ fantasy point upside on a nightly basis. He also relies heavily on scoring, and will benefit from the pace and scoring upside of this matchup. Booker is expected to find minutes in the high-30s tonight. He’ll continue to be the focal point of the Phoenix offense, and he makes an elite option on this slate.

Kelly Oubre Jr.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is a bit of a boom or bust option for the Suns. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 22.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 37.2 minutes per game. Oubre is a big part of the offense, and he comes with double-double potential. He also flashed 60 fantasy point upside this season. He’ll find minutes in the high-30s once again tonight, and Oubre should find plenty of offensive success tonight.

Deandre Ayton

Deandre Ayton is a player that has caught fire recently. He’s averaging 23.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 blocks in 34.5 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has scored around 55 fantasy points in each of his last 2 games, flashing tremendous versatility. Ayton is expected to find minutes in the mid- to high-30s tonight, and he’ll have a massive size advantage against Houston. He’s athletic enough to keep up with the pace of this game, and Ayton adds elite upside to arguably the highest upside stack on the slate.

Portland Blazers

The Portland Blazers and Utah Jazz currently rank 11th and 20th in the NBA in pace this season. Portland also ranks eighth in the league in offensive rating, while Utah ranks in the same slot in defensive rating. The Blazers arrer +8.5 point underdogs in a game set at 226.5 points, and they possess an implied team total of 109 points on this slate tonight.

Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard was recently on fire, but has cooled off a bit over his last two games. Still, he’s averaging 36.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 10.4 assists, and 1.0 steal in 36.4 minutes per game over the last 10 days. He has flashed 85 fantasy point upside, while topping 70 fantasy points relatively consistently in recent games. Lillard will find minutes in the high-30s tonight, and he’s one of the best options on this slate.

C.J. McCollum

As expected with Lillard’s recent outburst, C.J. McCollum hasn’t been an overly dominant option in recent games. Over the last 10 days, he’s averaging 18.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.0 block in 34.5 minutes per game. McCollum is an offensive option behind Lillard that possesses 40+ fantasy point upside. Similarly to Lillard, he is expected to find minutes in the high-30s tonight, making him another high upside option in a relatively safe stack.

Hassan Whiteside

Hassan Whiteside is another player that has found tremendous success recently. He’s averaging 17.4 points, 14.4 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks in 31.1 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Whiteside has also scored 50+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. Furthermore, he boasts 70 fantasy point upside because of his elite block potential. Whiteside is likely to find minutes in the mid-30s tonight, and he boasts 20/20 potential. He adds both consistency and upside to this stack.
