NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Monday…
Players Listed As Questionable
Happy Monday family! The NBA all-star break is rapidly approaching now that we are through the Super Bowl. We will likely have a ton of injury spots each day until the ASB so get ready to be at your computer/phone prior and after lock this week! I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.
Joel Embiid
Starting things out with our good friend Joel Embiid and the same situation that we’ve been in the past few weeks — look for Montrezl Harrell and James Harden to be top-overall plays if he gets ruled out.
Tyrese Haliburton + Myles Turner
This is a really important situation to watch, we will get pretty much must-play guys if either one misses, and if they both miss then we will definitely likely have 3+ Pacers in our lineups tonight. McConnell and Hield are the big winners if Haliburton is out, while whichever of Isaiah Jackson, Daniel Theis or Jalen Smith starts would be a fantastic play with no Turner. I can see us playing multiple Pacers big-men with no Turner even with only one of those three guys potentially starting. Big spot to monitor here.
CJ McCollum
McCollum missing tonight would make Brandon Ingram one of the best plays and projections on the slate, while Jose Alvarado would be a must-play value option if he starts.
Jamal Murray + Aaron Gordon
Another spot similar to IND. Both these guys missed over the weekend and we would want multiple Nuggets players if both or even one misses. No Murray helps both Bruce Brown and the already astronomic ceiling on Jokic…while Gordon being out would make Cancar a really strong cheaper play assuming he starts again.
Rudy Gobert + Kyle Anderson
I’m going to assume these guys both play, but we know that Naz Reid will be a lock without Gobert while McDaniels and Prince are the winners from Anderson missing tonight’s game.
Kyle Kuzma
Beal and Porzingis are healthy (for now) so they become better plays with no Kuzma — Deni Avdija is in play in the mid-tier assuming he starts if Kuzma misses this game.
In addition to the Q tags, we have both LeBron James and Tyler Herro listed as doubtful to play tonight.
