For a Sunday Slate, it’s amazing! A ton of fast games, highlighted by the MIA/CHI and MIN/LAL games. Let’s get right into it.

Core Plays

Jimmy Butler-

Butler has had 2 triple doubles in his last 3 games, and he’s finally found his stride, while taking advantage of Dragic being out. He’s facing CHI who have awful defense, play at a somewhat fast pace, and for you narrative lovers, he’s facing the team that drafted him. With no Dragic, Winslow Q, Butler has another chance to be the primary ball handler and he’s still a little too cheap on both sites.

 

LeBron James- 

“LBJ” has had the lead for the highest assist numbers, and with a matchup against MIN, their fast pace will benefit LeBron for sure. On top of that, I doubt Rondo plays, so LeBron will be the primary PG when he’s on the floor, speaking of Rondo, he’s been playing stellar as the backup PG- Go Lakers(!).

 

Value Plays

Washington Wizards-

The Wizards have been the value mine over the last week, and I’m going right back to it. Ish Smith, without Thomas is locked, Rui Hachimura with no Bryant, Wagner with no Bryant, Beal will get the usage but tough defense. Even in blowout, Rui/Wagner should still get their run. Ish should get close to 28-30 minutes if the game gets out of hand.

Tyler Herro-

Herro is probably going to be in more than half of my lineups today, and will be in all if Winslow is out. No Dragic, Herro is first or second off the bench always. Great spot here, Chicago is not good, and Herro will play 30+ minutes and is super cheap on FD.

 

Tournament Plays

Jalen Brunson-

We’ve gotten news that Delon Wright will not play today, and the Mavs have not been shy with putting a point guard next to Luka whether that be Brunson, Wright or Curry. Without Wright, Brunson should get a good amount of run and he’s cheap, a perfect tournament play that has 8-9x upside in this matchup.

Honorable Mention Section:

Anthony Davis – Could even be in core, I love him and LBJ

Kendrick Nunn- Very cheap, perfect matchup, waiting on news.
