Building Blocks
Paolo Banchero
Tuesday provides a ton of big-men in strong sports – starting with the rookie Paolo Banchero. Orlando faces off with the Lakers who are one of the worst defensive teams in basketball. They currently rank bottom-ten in defensive rating as a team. They also take a hit defensively against the frontcourt with Anthony Davis out. Banchero has been one of the best young players in basketball this season — he leads the Magic in usage rate at 28% and paces them in fantasy point per minute production as well. Overall, Vegas has the Magic at 120 points tonight which is a top-five number on the slate. They are in a great spot to put up numbers offensively and we know Paolo will log heavy minutes and run the show for them. He’s my favorite play on the slate and correlates well with LeBron on the opposite side.
Onyeka Okongwu
I posted a video about buying shares of Okongwu tonight on Jock MKT, and will be locking him for traditional DFS as well. He’s been posting some great offensive numbers recently, and will once again step into a larger role for the Hawks with Clint Capela out. He averages around 22 minutes per game this season, but with Capela out, we have him projected for over 30 minutes tonight. Indiana is one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, and I’m expected a huge point per dollar performance from Okongwu on Tuesday night.
Value Plays
Alex Len/Kings Center Minutes
All signs point to Domantas Sabonis sitting out tonight, making this situation one of the top value spots on the slate. We would obviously we would want confirmation that Sabonis is out and Len is starting, but Len was seen with the starters this morning at shootaround after Sabonis was announced with a fractured thumb yesterday. Overall, we will not have clarity on this situation until the post-lock news — whoever starts in place of Sabonis will be on my DFS radar in all formats.

LeBron James
It’s no secret that LeBron has been dominating without Anthony Davis — and as I noted above he correlates well with Paolo Banchero. This game has one of the highest O/U’s on the slate at 236.5 and should be a close contest with the Magic favored by just 3.5 points. He’s been averaging over 1.5 fantasy points per minute with no AD this season, and logging massive minutes to boot. He also has seen increased minutes at center, which can help produce bigger fantasy stats. Regardless, he’s one of our top projections on the slate and with plenty of value on the board, stacking him up with Banchero should be no issue.
