Building Blocks

TJ McConnell

Ben and I have been on him all week and I see no reason to shy away here. We havea very small three game slate and a couple of those games have blowout written all over them. This one however could stay somewhat close. Memphis gives up the second most assists to point guards and the 4th most points as well. McConnell will be leaned on for offense here along with Turner (who is a solid play as well). TJ should be pretty chalky but he is a must on this slate!

Ja Morant

On the other side of that game is this superstar! Desmond Bane and Steven Adams are going to miss this game making Ja an ELITE option. Indiana is awful against guards and his usage goes up without those two guys on the court. We should have plenty to spend up with tonight as the value is pouring from all corners.  Last time he played the pacers he shot awful and that was with Bane & Adams in but he put up 45 FP’s on a floor game. Love this matchup and play in all formats.

Value Plays

Jose Alvarado

Should be minimum 80% owned in all leagues. Arguably the best value play on the slate with McCollum nd Ingram ruled out. The Bucks are also pretty bad against guards and Jose should get 30 minutes tonight if not more with a price tag under 5k across all sites. This is a no brainer play and you should just lock him in and move on.

Terance Mann

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have both been ruled out and Reggie Jackson is questionable. Regardless of the outcome of Jackson, Mann is a great option at a cheap price tag. It is just a matter of when this game blows out as Donovan Mitchell is looking like he is going to play. This would make Cleveland fully healthy which is a scary thought in itself. Mann can score and grab peripheal stats as well. I am porjecting about 28-33 minutes here regardless of outcome and he can add a steal or two with his defensive skills.
