NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Friday…
Players Listed As Questionable
An awesome week in the NBA climaxes with just a five game slate. We have a few more injuries to watch compared to yesterday but overall, we already know a lot of the guys that are out. I think that Rudy Gobert will play, so I’ve left him off the list below. I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

Myles Turner ($5,800) and the Indiana Pacers
This is 100% the biggest situation to monitor and we will get a lot of clarity on the slate once this news breaks. Luckily, they are in the first game of the evening so we should have all the news at some point before lock. In addition to Myles Turner, both Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith are listed questionable to play. Should Turner miss, we will likely see Isaiah Jackson ($3,000) step into the starting lineup and be a must-play in all formats. Nembhard’s absence would once again force Chris Duarte ($4,000) into a starting role with more minutes and he would be viable in all formats. Nesmith missing would likely put Jalen Smith ($3,900) into the starting lineup but that one I’m not 100% sure on. If all of these guys miss, we will likely be playing 3+ Pacers on our teams tonight.
Donovan Mitchell ($6,700)
Cleveland is the only team on a back-to-back tonight, and Mitchell missed last night so I’m considering him closer to doubtful than Q tonight. We covered this yesterday but Jarrett Allen ($5,600) actually sees the biggest usage and PPG increase on the team with no Mitchell while Darius Garland ($6,500) and Evan Mobley ($5,400) would become top-overall options. If Mitchell is out this will likely be another 2+ Cavs in your build slate.
Andrew Wiggins ($5,400)
This one isn’t major with the rest of the team fully healthy now but we would likely see Jonathan Kuminga ($3,500) step into his starting role. Jordan Poole ($5,900) and Klay Thompson ($5,300) see the biggest usage rate increases with Wiggins off the court – both around 2%.
Desmond Bane ($5,800)
Bane missing tonight’s game would likely thrust Ziaire Williams ($3,200) in with the starters and he would be in play for value, especially if we don’t get much from the Pacers situation. Dillon Brooks ($5,400) sees the largest usage rate increase (3%) and Ja Morant ($7,300) and Jaren Jackson Jr ($6,200) hold their elite point per minute rates.
