NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Wednesday…
Players Listed As Questionable
The NBA awards us with a massive 10 game slate on Wednesday evening, with a ton of moving parts when it comes to injuries. There are quite a few teams on back-to-backs, and I think it’s a guarantee that we see more surprise names pop up this afternoon. As always, I’ll have na updated take on the top targets this afternoon in my building blocks article. For now, I’ll highlight the big names to watch and I’ll be around to answer any questions throughout the day in Discord. You can join the Discord for free here.

LeBron James ($8,000)
Alright so LeBron has been carrying a heavy load for this Lakers team with Anthony Davis out, and he looked completely defeated on the sidelines after last nights loss to the Clippers. He was immediately listed “uncertain” for tonight’s game and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him rest at all. Anthony Davis ($7,700) is set to return tonight, but he isn’t in play at that price-tag since he is expected to be eased in at around 20-24 minutes. We would, however, be considering Russell Westbrook ($6,500) and Dennis Schroder ($5,200). Other starters would get a boost as well, but it kind of hurts things with Davis back. Rui Hachimura ($4,400) is also expected to make his team debut.
Nikola Jokic ($7,800) and the Nuggets
This is the number one situation to watch in my opinion. Michael Porter Jr missed last night due to personal reasons and I’m just going to assume he is out for now. Bones Hyland also missed last night’s game, making him questionable tonight. On top of Bones — Joker played 36 minutes last night and has been nursing his hammy while Jamal Murray just recently was cleared for back-to-backs and logged 40 minutes last night. This could end up as a situation where all of Joker, Murray, Bones and MPJ are out or it could end up that all but MPJ end up playing. Bones ($4,400) and Bruce Brown ($4,700) look to get huge boosts with some of these absences along with Aaron Gordon ($5,600). This could be a night where we plug in 3+ Nuggets or we avoid them completely if they’re all active, for now we just don’t have that clarity.
Joel Embiid ($8,200)
Embiid was listed as Q yesterday, which would certainly shake up the slate should he miss. James Harden ($7,100) would become one of the top plays on the entire slate while PJ Tucker ($3,000) and Montrezl Harrell ($3,200) would likely cover the majority of the C minutes. Both would become strong value options in all contest formats.
Rudy Gobert ($6,200)
Gobert is listed as Q despite playing on Monday and not being on a back-to-back so I really have no idea what’s going on here. Should be miss, Anthony Edwards ($6,500) would see an increased ceiling while Naz Reid ($4,100) would be the best value play on the slate.
Andrew Nembhard ($4,600)
Nembhard missed last nights game due to an illness, and I think it’s probably likely he’s out again. TJ McConnell ($5,500) was one of the highest-owned plays on Tuesday and will likely be that again tonight after another big game. Chris Duarte ($4,000) stepped into the starting lineup and he would become a really solid value play should he be starting again. Benny Mathurin ($5,100) led the team in scoring last night and would be a strong mid-tier option off the bench.
