Building Blocks

Kyrie Irving

I would love to write up Jokic but his status is still unknown at questionable along with a couple others that will have big impact on this slate. Kyrie gets a decent matchup against the Warriors tonight. KD is still out so we will see him try to take the reigns of this offense yet again. He went off the other day scoring 41 real life points to give you an idea of what his ceiling is. Porjection portal has him at 51 points for a projection with a ceiling around 68 fantay points. It is going to be quite hard to fade him in this type of a situation on a small slate.

Steven Adams

Ayton has been ruled out leaving a good gap in the Suns front court. Adams has been having a solid year and this matchup is very juicy. I don’t think he is going to be super high owned but his ceiling is big! Adams can get into foul trouble easily making him a volatile play but he gets a ton of boards and put backs for points. Steven can even grab assists and stocks making him high risk/high reward. This game could get out of hand but he can rack up 30 FP in a matter of 7-10 minutes making him a higher priority for me on a smaller slate.

Value Plays

Bismack Biyombo/Jock Landale

With Ayton being out I assume we see Bismack grab the start here. This really comes down to who starts for me. Both have high upside at a very cheap price. The starter is a must in all formats on such a small slate as it won’t take much for them to hit value!

Lebron James

Lebron has his usual questionable tag. That being said, I assume he plays here against Portland. James has been fantastic against this team over his last 6 starts against them. Averaging over 30 points and flirting with a triple double in that time span. This should be relatively easy to get to with the value we have tonight and on OwnersBox more so given the salaries we are allowed/ pricing being the way it is.
