NBA DFS is widely popular among DFS players, but also one of the most time consuming to research. Players rest and sit-out daily, and this makes accurate minutes projections some of the most valuable information when building lineups. DFS Karma does the work for you in our Projections Portal — with minutes, fantasy points, value and more rates projected out nightly in an easy to read table. You can gain access to the projections by signing up for an NBA premium subscription here. This article will aim to identify some of the important injury situations to monitor throughout the day, and give you an idea of where to go if/when news breaks. Let’s get into Wednesday night…
Players Listed As Questionable
We have a smaller six game slate for NBA tonight and for what feels like the first time in months, there isn’t a ton to monitor when it comes to injuries. Given that it’s the NBA, that surely means some news will pop up at some point in the afternoon that will completely change the entire slate. I’m bracing for it, and you should too. I’ll always be around in discord to dissect any new or late injury situations after this article drops. You can hop in the Discord for free here.
Damian Lillard
This is obviously the biggest one of the slate — him being out would allow Shaedon Sharpe to start in his place but it would be a huge boost to Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant. Jusuf Nurkic and Josh Hart also see boosts — the Blazers would be one of our main targets in cash games should Lillard get ruled out.
Al Horford + Marcus Smart
This doesn’t seem massive, but actually would affect a smaller slate like this a lot. Assuming Robert Williams is back starting, he would be a strong play should Horford get ruled out. Smart being out boosts Malcolm Brogdon and Grant Williams. Williams is someone I could se catching a lot of ownership on this slate.
Khris Middleton (D)
Pat Connaughton will start in his place again – and the other starters obviously get a boost.
NOTE: Upon finishing this – as I predicted above we got completely out of the blue news from the Celtics. Horford is out – but Jaylen Brown was bumped down to Q. If he’s out, that would change the entire slate and obviously make the Celtics a top target. Stay tuned to my article later in the day.
